Massimo UTV T-Boss 410 Review
What is a Massimo UTV? Well UTV is Short for utility terrain vehicle. And this vehicle can be functional and purpose-driven tool that can help you in any of your day to day activities. Even if that might require wandering into the countryside or some sticky fields for work or leisure. However, just as form follows function, in the case of UTV’s function is followed by copious amounts of smile-inducing adrenaline as you tear through trails and forge through gigantic puddles at breakneck speeds. The Massimo UTV is perfect for hunting trips or working on all sorts of terrain.
However, if you’re just getting into the growing world of UTV’s. Well then, the sheer variety of choice can be a little daunting, to say the least. As we’re sure all enthusiasts of this niche variety of off-road vehicles would agree the technical jargon and, in some cases, ludicrous price tags can leave you a bit frazzled at the end of the day. Good thing we’re here to help with all that and we’ve got a brilliant little UTV that should defiantly make your shortlist.
From the critically acclaimed Massimo motors comes the T-Boss 410. A compact and fully capable off-road powerhouse that isn’t designed to break the bank. If you shop around a bit, you will find that this little monster offers many options that other competitors charge extra for.
Example, the Kawasaki Mule SX, if you would like a windshield, roof, side mirrors, or a front winch these are all options, compared to standard equipment for this Massimo UTV. You might just call it a bargain. However, don’t go thinking that just cause it’s a little bit cheaper it’s an inferior UTV, far from it in fact.
Massimo UTV Design
Like most imported UTV’s, the Massimo T-Boss 410 does take a considerable number of styling cues from the Yamaha Rhino. Though that’s not necessarily a bad thing and Massimo motors have added their own bold flair to this offering. Around the front, you get a familiar squared-off face with circular LED headlights and a distinctive flat front. The roof, like all UTV’s, is fairly high so there should be no issue with headroom for most people. Around the rear you get a fairly spacious dump bed as well, making it as practical as it is funky.
There’s another variant of the T-Boss 410 as well called the T-BossX. It’s nearly identical to the standard version however instead of a dump bed you get a rear bench that increases accommodation from 2 to 4 people. Sadly, the roof doesn’t extend over the reach bench so come rain, any people or golf clubs you will have in the back will inevitably end up getting soaked.
The optional bench seating is available for the T-Boss 410, at an additional cost. Speaking of rain this Massimo UTV comes with a windshield and full door netting as standard. While this won’t completely seal you off from the elements, it will avoid shifting most of the mud or rainwater you dislodge from hitting you right in the face.
While the design of this Massimo UTV isn’t as aggressive or unique as its bigger brother the T-Boss 550. It does do a pretty good job of distinguishing itself from its sea of rivals. The T-Boss is available in many colors. A Customer Review From The Massimo website.
“i recently purchased a T Boss 410 and am very satisfied with the product. At an affordable price you get so much more. Winch, windshield, roof , and hydraulic assist dump bed are all standard equipment. Every challenge form muddy roads to pulling a boat on trailer out water have been accomplished without problem without difficulty. I highly recommend this machine.”

Engine & Performance
Powering this Massimo side by side is an electronic fuel-injected 352cc 1-cylinder liquid-cooledfour-stroke engine that produces a very respectable 25.5bhp. While that may not sound like a massive amount of power, it only weighs in at 999 lbs. So, with there being no unnecessary weight to carry around, that is if you haven’t consumed an entire buffet of Big Macs. It should provide pretty brisk acceleration all the way up to its claimed top speed of 36mph, whether that be on gravel or tarmac.
The T-Boss 410 is one of Massimo’s side by side offerings. That means there’s a bench seat inside so you can bring a passenger along and scare the living bejesus out of them. There’s even enough room for three people in a pinch, but sadly there are only two seatbelts, so safety first kids! If you are hankering after a three-seater version, Massimo motors also produce another UTV called the Massimo Warrior. It’s quite a bit bigger, more powerful and more expensive than the Massimo T-Boss 410, but it comes with three induvial seats, this article provides more information about the Warrior 700.
The T-Boss 410 only comes with an automatic CVT transmission with low and high gears in addition to neutral and reverse. While some may despair at the thought of not being able to row through their own gears. This gearbox is more than up to the task of whatever Sunday adventures you might have planned. Both the front and rear get hydraulic disk brakes with drilled rotors. Meaning they should be able to withstand quite a bit of punishment before they begin to fade. “Does this come fully assembled?”

Interior
As far as interiors go the Massimo T-Boss 410 doesn’t do a half-bad job. All the buttons and switchgear are easy to reach and large enough to operate with even the thickest of mittens. The steering wheel is a nice shape and is accompanied by a digital dash cluster. It shows you all the usual bits of information from your speed, the RPM’s, engine temperature, millage and so on. As far as creature comforts go there is a cigarette lighter power socket, a couple of cup holders and a slot in the dashboard to put stuff in and that’s pretty much it.
The gear lever also looks like it came off a Willys Jeep from the 1940s, a minor nitpick for sure but one we felt compelled to mention. It is right next to the steering however and at the same height so that should make for some quick shifting while maneuvering yourself through tight spaces.
Accessories
The company also offers quite a vast array of accessories to spruce up your Massimo UTV. You get the standard stuff like a high-performance air filter and an Electric E-Kooler (see video below) that varies in capacity from 30 litres all the way up to 50 litres. So, you can drive even faster and harder up gruesome tracks and enjoy a refreshing beverage when you arrive.
If you’re looking for something a bit more practical there are two different universal snow plough attachments available. One is 60 inches wide and the other 70 inches. There’s even a snowblower that comes equipped with a massive 420cc engine. It should make quick work of any pesky snow you might have on your driveway or roads. It can be easily raised or lowered using the inbuilt winch, has a strobe light so you don’t accidentally run over a garden gnome and adjustable skids plates so you don’t damage the surface your clearing.
In addition to this, there’s a standard transportation cover available, or for a little bit more you can have one finished in camo, thieves may have a hard time spotting it under one and will keep your Massimo UTV dry in bad weather. A must-have accessory for those looking to trek their Massimo UTV’s through rain, hail or snow should get the enclosed soft cab. This gets you weatherproof nylon doors that should keep all you warm and dry even under the most torrential of downpours.
Off-Road Capability
The fully-independent front and rear suspension, the chunky tires, 10-inch ground clearance and the short wheelbase are enough of an indication that this Massimo UTV is no slouch when the going starts to get a little hairy. It’s light and nimble enough to skip through some pretty beefy terrain and without shaking your spine out of its mounting while doing so.
The manual steering sends a great deal of feedback through the wheel, so you always know where the wheels are pointed and how much grip they have. Massimo could have given the T-Boss 410 a bit more suspension travel, however in most terrains that doesn’t present itself as a glaring omission. When you do land yourself in a bit of a pickle, the standard winch should be easily able to get you out of trouble with its 3000 lb of capacity.
Conclusion
At this price, this Massimo UTV feels like a quality item while being great value for money. It’s immensely capable off-road, quite good looking, multi-purposeful, practical, well equipped and more comfortable then you might expect. There are plenty of Accessories available for almost every need. The Massimo T-Boss 410, is an excellent choice for someone looking to get their first side by side or just a great UTV all around.
